Outfit: Coral & Turquoise

This blog has moved.

I love that the colors on this dress are so intense! As I had mentioned in this post, this dress is one of the 3 items I ended up keeping from the Prabal for Target collection. I absolutely love the dress, my only issue is that it gets wrinkled. I feel like this is the perfect outfit for work, or a Sunday brunch!

Btw, if you follow me in Instagram or Twitter, you might have seen that I got a new haircut last week. I've got a few more outfit posts from before the new haircut so I'll debut the new 'do on the blog next week! :)

PS - I am moving my blog to Wordpress soon so, I would love it if you guys would follow me on Bloglovin'!

Outfit: Floral Jeans

I know the first day of Spring was last week but it didn't actually feel like Spring until yesterday. So, I decided to go all out, in my floral pants.

Outfit: Distressed Jeans + Pops of Color

We've seen a few days with really nice weather in NJ lately which I absolutely love!! Initially, I had paired this outfit with my favorite black bag (seen here, here, and here). But then I thought this green bag (also seen here) would look so much better with these yellow pumps. What do you guys think? Btw, the title of this post has to do with the fact that this outfit made me wish I was in LA!

Also, I'm participating in a Lucky Magazine contest and I would REALLY appreciate it if you could take a quick second and VOTE for me! Thank youuuuuuuu!!

Outfit: Stripes + A Dash of Green

I'm so proud of my mom - she's gotten so good at taking pictures. She randomly captured this and I love how you can see the bag's super cute lining! Btw, it was a little windy when I took these pictures so, please pardon the messy hair.

I Saw, I Loved, I Featured: Color Explosion

Sweater & flats: Target / Shirt & Jeggings: Express / Necklace: Forever 21
No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you - that's not me! Hehe. This is my classmate, Richa. Yesterday, Richa sent me this picture because another classmate of ours, Racquel, loved this outfit. Racquel told her she had to send me a picture and I am SO glad she did. How fabulous does she look? Thanks for allowing me to share this on my blog, Richa!

Outfit: Florals & Brights

Happy Thirsty Thursday, lovies! So, do any of you guys know how to interpret dreams? Sometimes, I have the craziest dreams and I have no idea why. Case in point - the dream I had last night. It's like I was basically in that movie 2012 - floods everywhere, people running for their lives, lights going out, everyone screaming. It was kinda scary and I wonder why I had such a dream and what it means. Maybe it's because things have been very chaotic for me the past couple weeks?

Anyways, on to the outfit - I'm so excited to debut my favorite skirt from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection! I love everything about this skirt - it's such a great basic piece!

PS - Stop by tomorrow for my trend predictions for the Oscars this Sunday, and the 20 dresses I would love to see on the red carpet!

Prabal Gurung for Target Review

The much anticipated Prabal Gurung for Target collection finally launched a little over a week ago and I was beyond excited! I saw the lookbook and fell in love with every look! The Target stores by me are closed on Sundays so the day this collection launched, I woke up at 7 am and tried to order items online. But the one item I just HAD to have - Dress 1 - was already sold out online, by 7 am!

I tried my luck at two different Target stores on Monday and finally got the dress! Anyways, between the stores and the site, I ended up getting these 9 items -
After all the excitement and anticipation, I hate to admit that I was not thrilled. I was actually pretty disappointed. I wasn't impressed by the fit of the clothes. I ended up getting Dress 1 in size 2 and I'm most certainly not size 2. Even beyond that, the dress just made my hips look way too big! The same goes for the red dress, although it's not as bad as the white floral dress. I got the 2 blouses and the sweater in size S (I had also ordered all 3 in M for safe measure) and all 3 items ended up being way too big! The blouses also have a hi-low hem, which I'm not a fan of. The drop waist dress doesn't work on my body so I won't say much about that, except that it runs really big!

Now onto the items I actually liked. The coral & aqua dress isn't one I had originally planned on buying but I picked it up anyways and it was a pleasant surprise. I love how it fits but I had to get it in size 6. See what I mean when I say the fit was all cooky? I also love the skirt - although the print and color are very conservative, the silhouette is great! The lace-up pumps are also great! So, I'm going to keep those 3 items.

Overall, judging from the items I have tried, I think the collection is almost matronly and not very flattering or sexy. Everything was cut too big (except the white floral dress) and too long! In terms of fit, I feel lit the collection was not designed for real women. I was mostly disappointed about the white floral dress didn't work out because I had planned on wearing it for my birthday next month! :(

Did you guys buy anything from this collection? What did you think about it?

Prabal Gurung For Target: A Love Story

"One thing I kept on coming back to, was the idea of love - whether it's having it, pining for it, losing, wanting it. Most of the collection that I do, has been inspired by love."
- Prabal Gurung, on his collection for Target.

From the minute I heard about this collab, I was in love. When I saw the lookbook, I could feel the love. Prabal Gurung is one of my absolute favorite designers and Target has always done a fabulous job with their designer collabs (except the one with Neiman Marcus - that was awful!). I can see myself falling in love, wearing one of the dresses from this collection. Seriously, I'm kind of obsessed with this collection. Ok, I'll stop talking about it now and just share some of my favorite pieces.

Btw, for all the men - this collection comes out just in time for Valentine's Day - on 2/10. Any piece from this collection is a winning Valentine's Day gift - you can thank me later! :)
1. Dress with full skirt in Floral Crush print - $49.99
2. Dress with full skirt in Apple red and black - $49.99
3. Flat Sandals - $29.99
4. Lace-up pumps in Meet The Parents print - $39.99
5. Pintuck Dress - $49.99
6. Blazer - $49.99, and Shorts - $36.99 - in Floral Crush print
7. Ruffle blouse in Dresden blue and black - $34.99
Here's the tricky part for me - If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you know that I'm going to try and go on a shopping hiatus for two months, starting 1/15. Of course, this collection comes out smack in the middle of this hiatus, on 2/10. So, needless to say, I'm already going to cheat. At least, it'll be worth it, right? Have y'all checked out the collection yet? Do you plan on buying any of the pieces? Please share!!

OOTD - Pop O' Neon

Since last week, I've fallen prey to neon fever. I've acquired a few neon items already and I finally wore one of those items yesterday! Here are the pictures -
