I love that the colors on this dress are so intense! As I had mentioned in this post, this dress is one of the 3 items I ended up keeping from the Prabal for Target collection. I absolutely love the dress, my only issue is that it gets wrinkled. I feel like this is the perfect outfit for work, or a Sunday brunch!

Btw, if you follow me in Instagram or Twitter, you might have seen that I got a new haircut last week. I've got a few more outfit posts from before the new haircut so I'll debut the new 'do on the blog next week! :)

Outfit: My Favorite Coat & Boots

Happy Monday, lovies! Today's post is pretty much about my favorite coat (also seen here), favorite boots (also seen here), and the fact that my mom is an amazing photog (she randomly captured the picture above, and the one below, while I was walking)!

OOTD: Red & Chambray

I've been obsessed with this combination for a while but had been on the search for the perfect chambray shirt - until I found this polka dot one! So, I was so excited to wear this outfit when I went to hang out with Sheela over the weekend! This is my version of one of the looks from this post.

Also, last week, I was going through pictures from my undergrad days and noticed that I used to curl my hair all the time. So, I decided to try it again - I just wish the curls stayed longer! Do you guys know how I can get my curls to hold longer?

Btw, I hate how I always have this hair tie on my right wrist. It's such a habit and I always forget to take it off when I'm taking pics!

Happy Monday, lovies! Did you guys watch the Superbowl yesterday? I'm a Giants fan but since they didn't make it, I was rooting for the Ravens so I was so excited they won!!

Moving along .... I'm kinda obsessed with these pumps (scored for under $15!) and the bag! By the way, this blouse used to have one of those bow things around the neck - I cut it coz I just don't like that look on me but I loved this blouse! Btw, this could totally be a Valentine's Day outfit, no?

OOTD: Magenta & Green

This is a super late outfit post! A couple weeks, I went out to dinner with Sheela and she called me a few hours before and says "I think I'm gonna dress up for you". I was happy she said that coz I'm usually the one who dresses up and she likes to keep it cazh. I just feel like you should dress up every chance you get - it's so much fun, no?

Anyways, this dress had been in a my closet for a while and I hadn't worn it yet so I decided to take it for a night out! At first, I had just worn it with a long, gold necklace but then I remembered this J.Crew look-a-like bubble necklace that I had just bought and I had been dying to wear it. So, I changed it up.

PS - The dress is a little long, IMO, to go with stockings. So, I just folded it up at the waist.

OOTD: Spots & Stripes

Hey lovies - hope y'all had an amazing holiday season and a fabulous NYE! How's 2013 been treating you so far? We didn't have heat in our house for 2 weeks - finally got that sorted out today - yay! I'm also starting classes again in 2 weeks so, just been spending time catching up with friends.

Now about this outfit - B&W, and stripes are two of THE biggest trends for Spring 2013! So, when I saw this top, I had to have it, but I didn't just wanna pair it with something predictable like leggings or dark jeans. So, I decided to go out of my comfort zone, and mix prints!

Celebrations!

So, I haven't blogged in months .... MBA madness! But, I'm back! :)

Today, I'm done with the first semester of my MBA so, last night, my best friend took me out to dinner to celebrate! We went to this beautiful mexican restaurant, Charritos, in Weehawken, NJ. The restaurant has a breathtaking view of the NYC skyline. I have been beyond obsessed with my red skinny jeans lately so, of course, that's what I wore. Too bad we didn't bring an actual camera so I had to do phone pics. A big thank you to my best friend, Sheela, for being oh so patient and taking these pictures! Here they are -
